Had such a nice stay at Amelie’s place! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed ourselves. I honestly have no complaints about our stay. If you’re looking for a stay that is absolutely beautiful and very private (not near touristy areas) this is hands down the best. We had to drive to all places which was minimum 30 minutes but the privacy and beauty of the airbnb was so worth it. It gets a bit colder on the golf course at night since we are on a mountain so beware. Otherwise, enjoyed every moment and Amelie made the stay so comfortable. Very responsive host and communicated throughout our stay in case we needed anything. The golf course had great food and the airbnb is near a famous tea farm which was nice. Overall, If I had the option to go with the tourist areas/hotels or this airbnb, I will choose this option again.

I loved staying here with my wife for 5 nights. We felt very at home and cosy. The bedrooms/bathrooms were very spacious, the pool was nice and what stood out was just how large the villa was in general. Separate private bedroom and T area to one side of the house and lounge/seating/dining are to the other side. With the pool in the middle, accessible from both sides! All in all, a fantastic stay. I loved every bit of it. There is on site spa and restaurant which means you dont have to go far to feel relaxed and on holiday.
The only thing is, if you are staying here, please rent a car since it is in the middle of a golf course.
The thing that stood out to me most was the security. It is in a gated premises and therefore I felt comfortable knowing that nobody except residents are allowed to enter the estate. So I felt safe in the compound even at night. My only worry was avoiding the mosquitoes! 🙂

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful spacious villa and we appreciated the calm and the nature. You do need a car, but it is central enough to visit the entire island. Thanks to Amelie for her reactivity. I highly recommend the villa.

Great place, exactly as pictured.
Largest benefit was the location. It is while slightly remote, offers quiet surroundings, beautiful golf fields and views, and most important clean air (which is less common closer to villages).
Amelie was very helpful and responsive. Cleaning was on a high level as well.

We enjoyed it very much at Amelie’s place. We felt like at home. We were also allowed to go to the beach at any time through their garden. The hosts live next door, but you’re in the cottage for yourself.
Housekeeping staff are also very nice and helpful.
The daily morning concert of the hearty and colorful birds is a wonderful start to the day.
Amelie is happy to give tips for restaurants or excursions. The cottage is a great base for exploring the area.

We had an unforgettable and relaxing time at Amelie’s house. It all worked out wonderfully; the location by the sea, the many excursions, restaurants and shopping.
The house is very tastefully decorated and very clean.
We would spend our holidays with Amelie again at any time and can highly recommend the stay!

We had a very relaxing stay at Amelie’s beautiful house. The house is very spacious and decorated with a lot of love. We didn’t miss anything, there were enough towels, toilet paper, spices, tea, water, dish soap, soap,… games and a music box 🙂 The beds are very comfortable and very clean. In the cabinets you have plenty of opportunities to store your clothes. The pool had a nice temperature despite cool days. Sharonne gave us a very warm welcome. She makes the beds and cleans if you wish.

Sublime fully equipped villa with a very pleasant swimming pool, a very large and shaded terrace to enjoy the good weather and the very very well-equipped swimming pool and villa (3 large bedrooms with bathroom for each).
We even had a very friendly housekeeper who cleaned the villa almost daily.
Great experience, right next to the Black River Park with many hikes possible. Highly recommend

We had an amazing time at Amelie’s house. I need not describe the house in detail, as it is exactly as listed by Amelie. May be even better. To summarize, it is a perfect combination of Traditional charm, with Modern living. Plus, you can literally walk downstairs of this property, to access one of the best snorkelling destinations in whole of Mauritius.
It is in a peaceful village close to Blue Bay. Very easy walk to grocery stores and bakery shops, and short ride to supermarket and mall. We loved the restaurants located nearby.
Marine was extremely helpful with everyday work, as well as with local recommendations. She ensured that our stay was as convenient as it can be.
I highly recommend this place.
